I started training for and racing triathlons after my second child was born in 2007. I have raced sprint, olympic, half ironman and full ironman distances. I have met and become friends with many fellow triathlete moms - if it was not a social outlet for me, I would not do it!

My triathlon personality: Consistency is key (my mantra!). Having said that, I am still a stress case before every race!

My claim to fame: Racing in my first triathlon just 6 months after the birth of my second child.

My favourite thing at Tri-it is: The customers and fellow staff. There is always something to talk about!

My claim to fame is: A member of the 2010 & 2011 Canadian Cross Country Junior team. I feel so fortunate to have been given the opportunity to represent my country in both North American and World Championships.

I am a phys ed, sports med, english high school teacher, I have coached runners for almost 20 years specializing in long distance, cross country, track, ultra runners and the very FUN transition run, have coached bike classes at Tri-It for three indoor seasons with the best post brick baked goods, I love running but know that my body needs more balance so picked up a little swimming, cycling and core, I
also love being in the mountains hiking and cross country skiing and believe we all need balance with our training.

My Triathlon personality is: Training and racing wtih an "attitude of gratitude".

My claim to fame is: I was not an athlete in my early years and took up triathlon as an older runner looking for a change. This was many years back; back before they had sprint races, indoor spin classes, aero bottles, or compression.

My favourite thing at Tri it is: The special Tri It jerseys; great color for being highly visible on the road; choice of lively blue or wild pink. Every time I wear my pink jersey, I get wonderful comments.

My claim to fame is: The fact that I legitimately enjoy totaling cash in my head.

My favorite thing at Tri-it: Well that's a toss-up between the wetsuits and all the compression gear. I find the fabrics and the complexity of the garments really interesting.
